23 лютого 2017р. я провела відкритий урок
у 8-Б класі «Destination UK – Northern Ireland» із використанням Smart Board.
It was the lesson for 8 formers. It was one lesson of the Unit “United Kingdom of Great Britain
and Northern Ireland “.
After activity “Music Box” learners were introduced to the topic of the lesson.
The topic was “Destination UK – Northern Ireland”. During the lesson they listened
to a song “United Kingdom”, revised facts about Great Britain and read texts
about Northern Ireland.
At the very beginning learners were asked to listen attentively to a
song “United Kingdom” and write down as many words as possible connected with
all its countries. After that they were involved into discussion. Then they did
some activities as matching and answering the questions in order to revise
facts about the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. They
should have chosen the parts of the UK in our Smart Board and make up a map.
Learners also matched the parts of the UK with their flags. After that learners
were divided into 3 groups and given a task to read a text about Northern
Ireland and make up two questions. Then students exchanged the texts clockwise
(they were given different texts) and answered the questions of the previous
group. At the end of the lesson they were involved in discussion about Northern
Ireland.
